Are you ready for your fall/winter shopping but you are clueless of what to buy? Do you want to be on trend and start your new season fresh and stylish? Do you want to be on style effortless? Then you are on the right place. Yup! I am here to show you the latest trends. So lets get right into it!

1. Navy Blue
Navy Blue is this season's new black! Wear it head-to-toe as seen as Celine, Chloe, Calvin Klein, Nina Ricci, Paul & Joe etc. If you are not dare enough to be navy blue from head-to-toe then just add few navy blue touches.

2. Exotic Furs

A must have for winter is the fur coat! The only difference this year is that it comes straight from the wild side! Pop colours, bold patterns/prints and disco-grunge flares is what describes the coats for this season! From the runways of Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Kenzo, Jeremy Scott, Gucci now they must go straight into your closet!

3. Tweed

This wool fabric shines in elegance this season and transforms itself in various forms. Under the legendary influence of Coco Chanel designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Haider Ackermann, Lanvin got inspired by the femininity of the typical masculine fabric.

4. Tartan

From green checks to red, blue, black, this season wants it ALL! Tartan is huge right now and for sure you will see them everywhere! Think grungy with Saint Laurent, masculine with Celine and Stella McCartney for a hint at how designers gave their magic to the fabric with their own inspirational twist. You can find the trend on various designers like Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier.

5. Night Owl

Ostrich feathers appeared for Fall/Winter 2013-2014 and are here to stay! As they made their appearance to well known designers such as Gucci, Vivienne Westwood, Dries Van Noten, Proenza Schoulder, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, now its time to make its appearance in your closet as it came in a ready-to-wear version! Ostrich feathers will add a soft and light touch to each silhouette with elegance, adding luxury to your outfit.

6. Leathery Heights

Leather coated legs in thigh-high boots and slick stocking are essential for this season! Suede versions appeared at Emilio Pucci and Balmain while a smooth leather was like a second skin at Celine, but it was at Chanel where the soft leather stuck onto the legs as a type of stocking tucked into boots, Karl Legerfeld explained backstage at Chanel Fall/Winter 2013-2014 show. The trend has been seen on shows from Donna Karan, Zadig et Voltaire, H&M any many others.

7. Grunge

Add a little bit of punk, rock and a mix of heavy metal and you'll successfully get the grungy appeal of the looks that hit the runway. Studded leather, mesh stockings and plaid shirts were the top 3 found in designers shows (Emilio Pucci, Saint Laurent, Zadig & Voltaire, Vivienne Westwood). This fashion revival is for sure the ultimate in laid-back, rebellious style.

8. Ecru

Ecru this year gives us no exception due to Valentino, Celine, Elie Saab, Mugler, Nina Ricci, Stella McCartney and loads of other designers. Gives a fresh and clean vibe to you and your confidence! If you are a bit of a no-no to the head-to-toe ecru then try adding some staple  pieces to your wardrobe on those shades, a good start is always a blazer.

9. Youthful prints

Girly hearts, floral prints, childhood characters and frivolous stars are the young touch to your outfits! Designers like Hermes, Kenzo, Lanvin, Givenchy and Burberry Prosum made a playful stamp this season.

10. Oversized Shoulders

For his first show as Balenciaga's Creative Director, Alexander Wang presented coats and shortened jackets with large, rounded shoulders in homage to the oversized cuts from the era of Cristobal Balenciaga, founder of the celebrated fashion house established  in the 1930s. The look carefully softens strict winter silhouettes, also seen on the Proenza Schouler, Givenchy, Carven, Kenzo and Gucci catwalks.
